Advanced Student Technician: $18.00 per hour
- Lighting, Sound, Counter Weight System Operation (required with student technicians) per student
Student Technician: $15.00 per hour
- Lighting, Sound, Counter Weight System Operation
- Works under the supervision of the FAC Manager and/or Advanced Technician (Freshmen Intern unpaid training position may be present for reservation). per student
Primary Purpose: Assist the high school campus Fine Arts Center Manager with lighting, sound, counterweight system operation in conjunction with facility rental and reservation requests, and other technician help as needed, students working the auditoriums'' sound booth and lights.
Qualifications: Must be an actively enrolled Theatre student in the Denton ISD High School Theatre program trained in lighting, sound, and counterweight systems. Students must be recommended by the Fine Arts Center Manager.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to run and program high school theatre lighting equipment.
Ability to run and program high school theatre sound equipment.
Ability to operate counterweight system.
Experience: High School Theatre I & II
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Programming and preparing for campus Fine Arts Center rentals and reservations.
- Operating lighting, sound, and counterweight systems in the High School Fine Arts Center.
- Communicating with the Fine Arts Center Manager.
- Maintain professionalism with guest, staff, and students.
- Assists with various department projects.
- Maintains an important level of confidentiality.
- Follows all rules, regulations, and policies of the Denton ISD and follows directives from superiors
- Follows attendance policy as assigned by supervisor
- Performs other functions that may be assigned by the Administration and/or supervisor.

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interprets policy, procedures, and data; coordinates district functions; maintains emotional control under stress.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Occasional prolonged and irregular hours. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Occasional lifting to fifty pounds. Prolonged use of computer and repetitive hand motions
