What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Technician position at Denton Lawn Sprinkler?
Denton Lawn Sprinkler is looking for assistants to help our Irrigation Technicians with service, repair and installation projects.
Responsibilities:

Reading the schedule or work order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed as needed.

Conveys materials and items from the shop to job location, truck, or other designated areas.

Operates and/or maintains all equipment in their division.

Performs services in accordance with established safety procedures.

Interacts with Team Supervisor onsite as needed to receive further direction regarding area to be serviced.

May drive vehicle to production locations and assigned areas.
- May assist team members with assigned duties.
The ideal candidate will have:

A high school diploma or GED, or at least 1 year related experience and/or training

1 year related field experience and/or training preferred but not required
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to work in and adapt to various landscape settings, including direct contact with various plant and weather conditions.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills are HIGHLY desirable but not required.
- Operate various light equipment and hand tools.
