Responsibilities and practice
The Washington, DC office of Dentons US LLP is seeking an Antitrust Associate to join our growing and sophisticated Federal Regulatory & Compliance Practice. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, 3-6 years of antitrust experience, and significant Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) pre-merger notification experience. Our associates work collaboratively with our partners and clients and are key members of our team. Expected responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Working on HSR pre-merger notifications and advising clients
- Antitrust analysis related to mergers and acquisitions
- Assisting with responding to Second Requests
- Advising clients on antitrust aspects of business operations and market conduct
- Assisting clients with antitrust compliance programming, risk assessment, and training
- Supporting the team on business development and other Federal Regulatory & Compliance related matters as needed
Pursuant to DC law, the salary range for this position in Washington, DC is $235,000 to $390,000, based on experience. Based on years of experience, Dentons associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate. Personal skills/attributes

- Demonstrates an ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients
Technical skills
- 3-6 years of antitrust experience is required
- Significant pre-merger notification experience is required
- Strong case management and communication skills are required
- Experience with antitrust compliance programs is strongly preferred
- Prior government agency or law firm experience is strongly preferred
Other requirements
- Should be licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and be in good standing
