Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a Legal Administrative Assistant for our St. Louis office. This position will provide administrative support to Litigation lawyers in a highly collaborative working environment. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for document preparation, editing, file maintenance, client billing and overall administrative support for multiple timekeepers
- Work with timekeepers, input time entry, pleadings, and process mail
- Client contact in person and over the phone
- Travel arrangements and reimbursements
- Handles administrative confidential/sensitive firm and/or client information
- These duties may be ongoing or ad-hoc in nature
- Other duties as may be assigned to fully meet the requirements for this position
Experience & Qualifications
- 8 - 12 years of Litigation administration experience in a mid- to large-sized law firm
- Proficient in legal secretarial and administrative tasks including, but not limited to, document preparation, filing, time entry, expenses, telephone contact, travel arrangements, and calendar maintenance
- Must be familiar with local court rules; preferably familiar with Missouri and Illinois state court rules and federal court rules
- Possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, work independently, and multi-task a must. Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and excellent client service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) a must. Knowledge of Intapp, iManage, Chrome River, a plus. Must have a solid ability to learn and adapt to new software programs
- Excellent written and oral communication and strong organizational skills
- Must be detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have the ability to prioritize incoming/outgoing tasks
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
- Availability for overtime

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
