Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Document medical histories and maintain accurate medical documentation for all patients.
- Utilize medical imaging technology for diagnostics and treatment planning.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to deliver optimal patient care.
Skills
- Proficient in various dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices within a dental office setting.
- Experience with medical imaging techniques and equipment.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort and satisfaction.
- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
