We are seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to work at a county jail(s) in the Steuben County Area. Professional will be providing on-site dental care in collaboration with a Dentist, in a controlled/safe environment.
This opportunity provides a great source of supplemental income and a valuable experience in a public health setting, while making a difference in health outcomes for incarcerated individuals.

Responsibilities
- Set-up and breakdown of room.
- Sterilization of all equipment.
- Take/process x-rays.
- Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
- Work with portable/mobile equipment.
- Graduate of Dental Assistant Program or on the job training
- One (1) year or more dental assisting experience - preferred
- Active x-Ray Certification
- CPR/BLS
- Valid Driver License
- Reliable Transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
