Job Description : We are looking for a
visual designer with typography and presentation deck design experience , and an ability to challenge the misnomer that PowerPoint is not for designers. You will report to a Creative Director.

The Information Design studio lives within Merkle's Experience Design community and tasks similarly to an in-house creative team . We specialize in marketing communications and partner with subject matter experts across Merkle to improve our client business communications. Our common deliverables include consulting and trend reports, RFPs, concept pitches, KPI dashboards, data visualizations, infographics, and product marketing materials like case studies and capabilities.
Responsibilities
- You will work across brand guidelines for both Merkle and our clients.
- You will design presentations for our high-profile deliverables including concept pitches, consulting / trend reports, infographics, KPI visualizations / dashboards, and product marketing materials highlighting our capabilities and case studies.
- You will collaborate and can be a strategic partner with teams including Sales, Strategy, Product, and Client Creative.
- You will learn our business inside and out so you can be a strategic storyteller and brand steward for Merkle and our clients. The mission for the Info Design team is to help content creators make the complex simple, clear.
- You will work with executives, subject matter experts and a variety of creative leaders to shape their content
- You will take ownership of projects, establish direction, and help lead other creatives by providing feedback and support
- You will consult with creative leadership, and project partners, to achieve project goals.
- You will communicate among peers, managers and partners, which include executive leadership.
- You will manage direct reports.
- You will be a tenured designer, collaborate to expand design and process best practices.
- You will scope work, manage resources and timelines.

Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000 - $152,375 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
