The Procurement Manager will plan, organize, support and perform all aspects of the day-to-day purchasing operations involving hardware, software and professional services for dentsu and its network of service lines within the United States. The Procurement Manager will work within a team of procurement professionals to oversee a broad range of spend categories while cultivating business relationships and supporting North American dentsu business. The role is also accountable for developing, implementing, and continuously improving purchasing services to the organization while managing daily operations in a high volume, fast paced environment. The Procurement Manager must lead by example by being thoroughly skilled in standard core competencies, such as vendor management, optimizing staff and operations performance and providing exemplary customer service in support of dentsu’s corporate vision.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
The anticipated salary range for this position is ($51,000-$83,375). Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage all aspects of the day-to-day procurement process for the acquisition of hardware, software and services to all locations while maintaining compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Utilize eProcurement systems to generate purchase orders in D365 and Coupa to address purchasing requests and renewals
- Manage ticket queue in procurement ticketing system
- Maintain high volume of tickets with low missed SLA ticket backlog
- Consolidate cross service line contracts of existing suppliers’ agreements to reduce redundancy, increase economy of scale and achieve cost savings
- Ensure compliance to managing renewal calendar and other departmental tracking systems
- Routinely and proactively update key stakeholders with status of procurement initiatives and client on-boarding exercises
- Must proficiently be able to utilize Microsoft Excel functions and formulas to:
- Develop and maintain software license trackers used by procurement, IT and finance for the purpose of managing software assets to maintain costs and compliancy.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis with ability to effectively and succinctly present content to senior leadership.
- Generate complex allocations for distributing costs of acquired goods and services to the various cost centers within the organization
- Lead Procurement efforts relating to integration of procurement services and contract consolidate efforts relating to acquired entities in North America.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing activities and independently manage RFP development, bid response evaluation, and contract negotiations
- Manage and oversee the organization’s wireless plan including conducting regular user/device audits
- Recommend and foster change by implementing process improvements that streamline operations and increase procurement efficiencies
- Responsible for generating cost saving and cost avoidance opportunities for the organization
- Lead Procurement projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work as part of a team and share knowledge with team members.
- Act as a coach and mentor for less experienced team members.

- Excellent Microsoft office skills with Word, Teams, Outlook with emphasis on Excel capabilities

- Ability to drive significant cost savings/cost avoidance using strong vendor management, contract analysis and procurement strategies
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
- Experience with eProcurement systems, preferably Coupa and D365
- Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible purchasing experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of procurement, contract administration and various forms of licensing.
