This role oversees Merkle's technology strategy practice, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities across the full CX technology stack.

Technology Leadership & Innovation
- Lead enterprise technology strategy initiatives spanning data infrastructure, cloud, generative AI, analytics/AI, identity resolution, and experience orchestration platforms
- Drive the strategy of our client’s technical vision and architecture recommendations across virtual, inbound, outbound, and physical customer experience channels
- Guide clients through technology modernization, with expertise in data lakes, CDP implementation, AI/ML platforms, and marketing technology integration
- Oversee roadmaps that leverage capabilities across the full technology stack - from core infrastructure through experience delivery
- Develop trusted C-level relationships focused on technology-enabled transformation
- Lead teams through technical discovery and solution development for strategic pursuits
- Partner with capability leads to ensure technical feasibility and integration across solutions
- Drive innovation through emerging technology assessment and practical application
- Drive practice P&L accountability, including revenue targets, utilization metrics, and metric goals
- Develop and manage the annual practice budget, headcount planning, and investment in advancing the practice
- Track and forecast technology strategy revenue, including pull-through opportunities across capabilities
- Maintain existing KPIs and reporting mechanisms to monitor practice health and growth
- Build and mentor high-performing technical strategy teams
- Establish technology solution frameworks and delivery methodologies
- Ensure accurate scoping and estimation of complex technical initiatives
- Monitor solution quality and technical risk across client engagements Cross Functional Collaboration:
- You will be closely engaged with client partners, strategists, and delivery engagement leaders to shape solutions towards clients explicit and latent needs.
- You will assess and recommend experience platform-oriented solutions, engineering solutions, and closely collaborate with a global distributed delivery team and practice leaders to convert client visions to reality.
- Maintain deep knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, data engineering, and marketing technology
- Provide thought leadership on technology trends and their impact on customer experience
- Guide technical strategy across industries, translating business needs into scalable architecture
- Partner with product teams and vendors to influence capability roadmaps and drive innovation
