JOB SUMMARY: The part time Camera Operator will assist scoreboard operations by operating a broadcast camera during live events at Empower Field at Mile High.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate Broadcast Camera during live events by:
- Building and striking broadcast camera before and after event
- Working with scoreboard team and event director to execute video broadcast production
Contributes to team effort by:
- Completing other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Experience operating a broadcast camera in a live production environment
- Familiarity with sports broadcasting
- Availability to work Denver Broncos home football games and public events as assigned
PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITY
- 2 Years’ experience operating a broadcast camera in a live production environment
- 2 Years’ experience working in sports broadcasting
- Must be able to take direction and have excellent communication with director and production team
- Ability to capture gameplay to the point of director’s instructions
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills - Must work well with others at all levels of organization
- Strong ability to collaborate and receive direction
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Maintain and cultivate an environment of creativity and positivity
- Understanding of basic camera operations and troubleshooting any minor technical and performance problems
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and adapt
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean & professional appearance
- Ability to lift 25lbs up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for up to 5 hours during an event
- Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to rain, snow, and heat
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly rate will be $50.00.
Stadium Management Company offers Paid Time Off 1 hour for every 30 hours worked and a 401(K) matching program once you reach 1,000 hours in the plan year.
