The Total Rewards team seeks a temporary Compensation Coordinator to aid with and help facilitate corporate compensation initiatives. Our project will primarily be focused on the new Department of Labor Overtime Rule changes effective January 1, 2025. This requires an individual who is well-versed in human resources principles and has a good foundational experience and understanding of compensation practices.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Compensation Analyst in completion of budget support activities, including meeting attendance, compensation spreadsheets and wage structures.
- Prepares meeting minutes for all budget support compensation meetings held
- Performs data analysis
- Assists in conducting and documenting compensation market analysis and research
- Research minimum wage information and trends.
- Collects and organizes job descriptions
- Performs quality control checks on various complex excel spreadsheets
- Always maintains strict confidentiality
Qualifications
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Excellent communication Skills
- At least 2 years experience in HR, working in compensation practices.
- Proven track record of upholding strict confidentiality.
- Sound understanding of basic compensation principles
Work Schedule:
- Tuesday through Friday
- 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- In office
- Possible Duration: now through March 10th, 2025
COMPENSATION: The pay rate for this position is from $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, based upon expreince.
