We are currently seeking an Claims Coordinator to serve as the Corporate Level casualty claims administrator and subject matter expert.  The responsibilities include claims management for the organization, providing support and oversight related to claims coordination for operational locations throughout the Xanterra Travel Collection® companies. Duties also include monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on claims performance. This position is a vital member of the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team, working closely with risk management in the field as well as key stakeholders at the property and corporate level.  


Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Xanterra Travel Collection® subject matter expert on casualty claims management, providing consult as necessary throughout the organization.
  • Provides quantitative and qualitative claim assessments as necessary and directed.
  • Manages the claims intake and associated administration piece of the RMIS tool.
  • Seeks consult from and provides support to the Legal Department for resolution of litigated or catastrophic claims.
  • Serves as a centralized resource to operations for all Xanterra Travel Collection® casualty claims activity.
  • Serves as the company contact for attorneys, adjustors and other third parties involved in the management and resolution of casualty claims.
  • Works with Third Party Administrator in adjusting and reserving practices and implementation of cost containment initiatives.
  • Identifies key performance indicators and directs measurement of results, to include design, analysis and distribution of key performance reports relative to claims.
  • Supports and facilitates a team environment of continuous feedback and idea sharing with all team members and stakeholders.
  • Provides updates as necessary and directed to the Corporate Director, Risk Management.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years claims experience, with competency in worker compensation
  • Proficient in Excel and RMIS tools
  • Proficient in company sanctioned software and systems, as well as relevant use of internet
  • Identify problems and apply solutions (creativity)
  • Excellent communications (oral and written)
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in the English language
  • Ability to work with limited direction
  • Travel will be required, 20% estimated.

 

COMPENSATION:  The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00.
