Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented warehouse technician AND crew member in our Coatings department to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. This position responsibilities will vary daily between shop technician and coatings crew member.
The warehouse technician will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized shop, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order, managing the procurement of supplies, and creating an efficient and safe working environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and the safety of staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Maintenance: Oversee the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of the shop to ensure a safe, efficient, and inviting environment for employees and customers. This includes managing storage spaces and work areas.
Tool and Equipment Management: Ensure that all tools, machines, and equipment are in working order. Conduct regular checks and arrange for maintenance or repairs as needed. Ensure proper storage of tools to prevent loss or damage.
Procurement of Supplies: Manage the purchasing of necessary supplies, including raw materials, tools, safety equipment, and other shop-related items. Maintain an inventory of supplies and reorder as needed to prevent shortages.
Space Optimization: Ensure that workspaces and storage areas are used efficiently to enhance productivity. Organize materials and tools to allow for smooth workflow and easy access.
Health and Safety Compliance: Implement safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensure that all employees are trained on safety procedures and that safety equipment is readily available and in good condition.
Cleaning and Organization: Enforce daily cleaning and organizational standards in the warehouse, ensuring a clean and hazard-free workspace. Supervise cleaning schedules and take action to address any safety hazards promptly.
Team Leadership: Supervise and manage shop staff, including training new employees, scheduling shifts, and ensuring high productivity. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on safety and efficiency.
Customer Service: If applicable, assist customers or clients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding products or services offered. Ensure customer satisfaction and manage any customer-facing issues professionally.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records related to supplies, equipment, maintenance, and safety checks. Provide regular reports to management on shop operations and any issues requiring attention.

Coatings Crew member Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of Waterproofing Systems: Apply waterproofing materials such as coatings, membranes, and sealants to walls, foundations, basements, roofs, and other areas prone to water exposure.
- Assessment & Inspection: Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate potential water-related issues and recommend appropriate waterproofing solutions.
- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, priming, or repairing them to ensure optimal adhesion and effectiveness of waterproofing materials.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on existing waterproofing systems, making repairs and improvements as necessary to prevent leaks and water damage.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of waterproofing projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working with chemicals, machinery, and during the application of waterproofing products.
