The Department of Surgery, Division of Urology at Denver Health Medical Center is recruiting a Chief of Urology. This position emphasizes patient access, high quality surgical care, housestaff and fellow training, and clinical research. The DH program is fully integrated with the Division of Urology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (UCSOM), including utilization of resident staff, clinical responsibilities and research. The Division of Urology at Denver Health is a dynamic group of five providers committed to providing world class urologic care to an urban underserved patient population regardless of ability to pay.
The Chief of Urology will :
- Have oversight of all care delivered by the Division of Urology
- Will provide overall strategic leadership of the Division in conjunction with the Department of Surgery leadership
- They will have responsibility for strategic planning, clinical services, professional performance, medical education, and physician practice
- Assist with continued support of a research program.
- Advance multidisciplinary care of patients with urologic diseases
- Advancing a culture of excellence in urology
- Relocation provided
