The Hourly Educational Braillist creates educational materials for students who are blind or visually impaired so that they are able to receive an appropriate education alongside their sighted peers. This position will work at various school locations across the Denver metro area, 2 days per week.

Create educational materials for students who are blind / visually impaired so that they are able to receive an appropriate education alongside their sighted peers.Transcribe print materials into Braille for students who are Blind / Visually Impaired.Transcribe math and science materials into Nemeth and science Braille codes.Create tactile / auditory versions of a variety of student educational materials which are presented visually.Transcribe all national, state and district exams into proper Braille codes, as necessary.Coordinate and work effectively with co-workers, site staff, and diverse student populations.Work with students who are Visually Impaired inside and outside of their assigned classrooms.Learn to use and understand student technology and assist in keeping data on student progress.What You'll Need :
