Provides various support and conducts activities related to logistics, reporting, training, communications, and processes. Participates in the planning and implementation of new initiativesAssesses and troubleshoots escalated problems and applies expert understanding to resolve complex challenges of stakeholders; focuses on root cause identification in order to achieve systemic and sustainable improvement. Approves and documents exceptions for compliance record keeping and reportingEnsures appropriate key stakeholder involvement in planning, goal-setting, and implementation to achieve buy-in of work products. Ensures purposeful, positive and professional interactions and relationships with all stakeholders; enables consistent application of work products across the districtIdentifies opportunities for improvement, prioritizes, and recommends solutions to management. Implements approved enhancements to ensure consistency across the district. identifies opportunities to reduce costs; analyzes available data, trends, and feedback, and ensures compliance with expectations for optimal operation and goal achievementProvide leadership in developing, documenting and implementing departmental practices, policies, and procedures according to best practices for restorative interventions and support across the district. Provide technical consultation and guidance to school teams to identify the application of RP to support the needs of all students and students with behavioral challenges and effectively meet identified needs in the school setting. Provide guidance to school leadership in organizing and managing RP staffDevelop and implement strategies to engage families, community members and DPS departmental leadership in restorative practices. Work collaboratively with principals, Instructional Superintendents, Student Equity and Opportunity departmental staff, school staff, other district divisions, as well as community groups and organizationsEnsure accurate documentation and reporting of student discipline data for restorative practices across the district. Ensure adequate processes and systems for collection of program related data. Compile and distribute appropriate program data to schools and district leadership to inform and support school and network successDevelop and implement a training plan that effectively implements evidence based restorative practices throughout the district according to implementation guide and benchmarking toolCoordinate meetings between school cohorts, school-based restorative practice coordinators, and discipline building leaders. Coordinate cohort gatherings to share successes and refine programming. Coordinate monthly meetings and facilitate ongoing communications among team members to discuss best practices and strategies for reaching organizational, program and individual goalsWhat You'll Need :
