The hiring salary range for this position is $3,195.66 - $3,992.23/semi-monthly or $6,391.32 - $7,984.46/month or depending on qualifications.

This class specification represents only the core areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the Division.•DATA ANALYSIS: Organizes and maintains inputs and outputs for various internal data systems;
investigates appropriate data for specific uses; develops data pipelines and data system architecture to
standardize the data production process; safeguards protected and other confidential information; applies statistical, spatial and other analytical techniques to discover quantitative insights from data.
•VISUALIZATION AND REPORTING: Visualizes data through graphs, charts, tables, and maps to help
examine and present data as easy-to-interpret information; recommends appropriate visualization methods based on the audience and intended use; creates and maintains dashboards and other interactive visualizations that serve information to internal and external audiences. Works with subject matter experts to determine what data and analysis supports certain messages and ensures that data is used appropriately for story-telling and case-making.
•DOCUMENTATION: Documents methodology for performing calculations and measurements required formreporting to ensure exact replication; maintains data sheets and citations for all reports so they can be validated and reproduced; tracks evolving needs across programs for reporting and provides recommendations.
•SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION: Serves as the system administrator for various data systems. Assists staff with any technical issues. Works with contracted vendors to support the development system enhancements. Assists with resolving bugs and any other issues that may arise.
•Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
•Serve as the Salesforce administrator for the Area Agency on Aging’s Salesforce Database ASPIRE.
•Serve as a regional administrator for the state’s Salesforce data system SUDS.
•Serve as an administrator for DRCOG’s Grant management system, WebGrants.
•Maintain the integration between the state’s Salesforce data system SUDS and the Salesforce ASPIRE system with support as needed by contracted Salesforce developers.
•Manage the contract between DRCOG and its contracted Salesforce developers to make updates to the Salesforce ASPIRE system.
•Prepare data reports and dashboards in various data systems for the use of internal and external partners for presentations and advocacy.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for data requests from internal staff and external partners and ensures consistency and accuracy in data presented.
•As needed, work with DRCOG Regional Planning and Development staff to develop maps and other data visualization tools.
•Monitor to ensure accuracy of data, reports, and dashboards for systems including but not limited to ASPIRE, WebGrants, and SUDS.
•Assists with monitoring the data reporting of DRCOG’s contracted service providers into the state’s data system SUDS to ensure accuracy.
•Work with compliance specialists to address any repeat compliance issues with data reporting requirements in the SUDS system.
•Assist the Manager AAA Business Operations in developing additional data reporting requirements and needs for the Federal Transit Administration Section 5310 program.
•Work on special projects and other duties of a similar nature and responsibility as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, data science or another closely related field; and three years of experience OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
