What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Lender position at Denver Savings Bank?
The Commerical Lender originates, manages, and grows profitable account relationships with business customers with the overall objective of maintaining and increasing commercial loans and deposit accounts.
MAJOR DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Portfolio Management: Continually partners with existing portfolio in order to fully understand their businesses, goals, strategies and challenges. Proactively assess their financial needs for the purpose of formulating a business plan that incorporates a variety of financial products and services that help the customer and company mutually succeed financially.
- Business Development: Calls on prospects seeking opportunities to expand the company’s customer base. This includes taking applications for commercial loan business, reviewing financial condition and assessing ability to re-pay. Performs effective financial analysis and underwriting in the areas of credit, cash flow and collateral.
- Assists customers with loan related questions or concerns along with collection of past due loans.

- A college degree in business a or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Five plus years of previous banking experience and commercial work experience is preferred.
- SBA Experience is preferred.
