What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trauma Healing Program Media and Donor Base Coordinator position at Denver Seminary?
GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB FUNCTION:
The media and donor base coordinator for the Trauma Healing Program will have two central duties: 1.) Maintaining the Trauma Healing Program constituency informed and up to date on the training opportunities, activities, and progress of the program. 2.) Start and maintain a donor base for the program. This is a temporary position through October 31, 2025.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Duties for this position generally fall into two categories: Media Management and donor base formation
Media management:
1. Keeping the Program´s social media up to date with news and information of activities (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.)
2. Sending out information about all trainings being offered and special activities. (Email, Text Message, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc.)
3. Recording and posting promotional videos in the Hispanic Initiate’s accounts
4. Being present at all events and classes in this program documenting pictures, videos, etc.)
5. Sending text message reminders to students.
6. Keeping all contact information up to date.
7. Refer all social media inquiries to the appropriate director or coordinator of the Program.
Donor Base:
1. Initiating the creation of a donor database, including individuals, churches, organizations, and foundations interested in supporting trauma healing programs.
2. Researching and reaching out to potential donors through meetings, phone calls, and follow-up emails.
3. Developing and maintaining regular communication with current and prospective donors, providing periodic updates on program achievements, testimonials, and progress.
4. Preparing and sending personalized thank-you letters and impact reports showcasing how contributions are making a tangible difference in the community.
5. Designing donor-specific promotional materials, such as newsletters, testimonial videos, and brochures that highlight the program's impact and needs.
6. Facilitate opportunities for donors to attend program events and witness firsthand the impact of their support.
EDUCATION/TRAINING: Must have completed a bachelor’s degree.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Committed personal relationship with Jesus Christ required and a lifestyle consistent with the Seminary’s Community Values and Behavioral Commitments.
- Agreement with Denver Seminary’s statement of faith.
- Must be fluent in Spanish and highly motivated.

1. Enhanced Program Visibility and Engagement: The Trauma Healing Program will have an increased and consistent presence on social media and other communication platforms, leading to greater awareness of training opportunities, program activities, and community impact
2. Established and Growing Donor Support: A foundational donor base will lead to increased financial support through individual donations, fundraising campaigns, and potential grants.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office working conditions including computer usage may require occasional standing, walking, long periods of sitting, climbing stairs, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
