What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Material Delivery Driver position at Denver Sub Contracting and Heavy Materials?

Heavy material handling and delivery, NO CDL is needed, but must have a DOT Physical and delivering material to construction sites is required. We are a smaller owned and operated business located in the Arvada/Golden area. The pay range is DOE and between $20-$28 per hour.
This is Monday - Friday daytime hours only.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor during interactions with customers and company staff
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before departure and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
-Help in warehouse when needed or when deliveries are completed.
- Requirements:
- Have clean driving record within the last 2 years.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check some jobsites will run drivers
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers
- Strong organizational skills to plan routes efficiently
- Ability to work independently
Note:
This position may require occasional lifting of heavy items minimum of 75 pounds and working in various weather conditions.
