Job Title : Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
We are looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to become part of the Denver Wellness team! Responsibilities :
- Assess, diagnose, manage and treat patients
- Write prescriptions and provide patient education on : prescriptions, ketamine / spravato, TMS, and psychotherapy
- Coordinate treatment among other medical specialists and therapists
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and other members of the care team
- Participate in continuing education for continuing certification processes for licensure requirements
- Performs counseling within the scope of clinical practice
- Obtaining and maintaining prescriptive authority per Colorado State Board Medical Examiner regulations
- Establishes systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including initiation of referrals and consultation with other health care providers as appropriate
