What You’ll Do
- Maintain and Repair HVAC Systems: Perform preventative maintenance and expert repairs on chillers, boilers, pumps, and related equipment.
- Support Critical Cooling Needs: Install, troubleshoot, and repair systems for data centers, labs, walk-in coolers, and commercial kitchens.
- Optimize System Performance: Configure, calibrate, and maintain advanced controls, including variable frequency drives, DDC, pneumatic systems, and PLCs.
- Lead and Innovate: Oversee and train technicians, fabricate and retrofit systems, and respond to emergency situations with confidence.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of a recognized HVAC/R apprenticeship program or a two-year HVAC/R accredited trade school in heating and air-conditioning or refrigeration AND two years of full-time experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position;
OR
Four years of full-time experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position;
OR
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Employee must possess and maintain the following licenses:
- Universal Refrigerant Handling certificate (or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Restricted Energy Technician LEB/LEA or Limited Maintenance Electrical License LME
Desired Attributes:
- Proven experience in HVAC and refrigeration systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of DDC and pneumatic control systems, as well as PLC programming.
- Proficiency in fabricating HVAC ductwork and calculating cooling loads/airflow requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain variable frequency drives and major air handling systems.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to train and mentor others.
