This is a Grant Funded Position: This position is in the Department of Behavioral Health, Adult Transitional Youth Services. The incumbent will assist SOR Grant program staff with administrative, operations, and logistical support around planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes for SOR initiatives to meet predetermined timelines and budgets. Establish quality standards; tracks the submission of SOR related paperwork of consultants, contractors, and partners and sub-grantees for initiatives including budgets, staffing plans, work plans, and other forms. Compiles sub grant/recipient agreements for signature. Coordinate and update the Live.Long.DC (LLDC) website. Maintain the website to ensure information is current. Monitors the Live.Long.DC email box and respond to or refer emails to the staff in charge.
This position IS in the collective bargaining unit represented by SED and you may be required to pay an agency service fee through an automatic payroll deduction.

Duration of Appointment: Term Appointment, Not-to-Exceed 13 Months
First Screening Date: March 21, 2025; and every two weeks thereafter
Tour of Duty: 8:15 a.m.-4:45 p.m. Monday - Friday
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT:
This position requires one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level. Specialized experience is experience which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position to be filled

WORK EXPERIENCE
Ability to analyze, follow, and execute the procedural and administrative support function of the SOR grant programs and related office operations; coordinate, troubleshoot, and resolve problems or issues.
WORK ENVIRNOMENT
The work is performed primarily in an office setting. Attendance and participation in evening or weekend meetings will be occasionally required, as necessary.
Position Designation: This position is deemed as “Security Sensitive” pursuant to Section 410 of Chapter 4 of the D.C. Personnel Regulations, in addition to the general suitability screening, individuals applying for or occupying security sensitive positions are subject to the following checks and tests:

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT:
A person applying for a position in the Career Service, Educational Service, Management Supervisory Service, a line attorney position in the Legal Service (series 905), or an attorney position in the Excepted Service (series 905) who is a bona fide District resident AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION for the position may be awarded a 10-point residency preference over non-District applicants, unless the person declines the preference points. If selected, the person shall be required to present proof of bona fide District residency and maintain such residency for 7 consecutive years from the effective date of the appointment. Failure to maintain bona fide District residency for the 7-year period will result in forfeiture of employment.
