Job Duties
Western State Hospital is seeking a full time Electrician who will provide oversight to journeyman level staff to ensure compliance and electrical support & services including trouble shooting, diagnosing, repairs, installation and preventive maintenance on the buildings and grounds at WSH and CCCA. Provide snow removal and emergency services as required; and provide on-call, weekend and holiday maintenance coverage as directed by the supervisor.
The Electrician will also perform preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment, buildings and grounds in accordance with the work order control system – TMS; provide work site guidance and direction to other zone team members, assuring safe and orderly completion of service requests and projects;

Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Applies mastery of skills in area(s) of specialization as demonstrated by; Experience as a Journeyman, Military Equivalence-Interior Electrician MOS 12R, or extensive Experience (Master Tradesman eligibility requirement)
- Master level certification/license
- Provide proof of work experience and education
- Moderate experience with building electrical systems
- Excellent knowledge with NEC requirements
- Experience with building automation systems
- Experience with building fire alarm systems
- Experience working with other trades
- Experience with generators and automatic transfer switches
- Bilingual
- Veteran or veteran spouse
