The Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescents (CCCA) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time Rehab Assistant. Successful candidate will work 11a-730p with weekend requirement. Candidate will provide back up for full time rehab assistant during their vacation.
Position Overview
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide individual and group activities to ensure that patients are provided with a rich and diverse offering of engagement experiences and, under the direction of the Therapy Manager I, ensures that these activities are coordinated with other elements of treatment. PSR Techs support the general milieu by providing supplies and materials for on-unit engagement and prepare and deliver sensory and activity boxes to support coping.

We work in partnership with other providers to improve the lives of Virginia's children who need intensive care, as well as their families. Additionally, we are committed to building statewide capacity in behavioral healthcare by offering training opportunities to mental health and human service providers, as well as students, through partnerships with colleges, universities, and community agencies across central and western Virginia. We also collaborate with other mental health and child-serving organizations to offer guidance and expertise in the development of Virginia’s mental health system for children and adolescents.

- Related certification and/or license in respective specialty, or QMHP-C, preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred,
