What are the responsibilities and job description for the MANAGEMENT SERVICES TECHNICIAN position at Department of Consumer Affairs?
This is a 12-month limited term position which may be extended to 24 months and/or become permanent. Multiple positions may become available.
Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Management Services Technician (MST) is responsible for determining the technical and analytical work associated with the evaluation of associate applications. Duties include determining when applications are complete and comply with all educational requirements; Evaluating transcripts and other documents, including out-of-state and out-of-country degrees; and performing follow-up review of the documents submitted in response to deficiency notices.

Working Conditions
The incumbent works in an office setting with artificial light and temperature control. The ability to use a personal computer is essential. The position is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required.
