The selected candidate will be responsible for performing fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities, including reviewing and evaluating budget requests, implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets, and presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities.

Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. You must demonstrate knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field, or three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Experience with financial analysis software and budgeting tools is also preferred.
