- Monitor and assess fusion nuclear science and technology progress, including breeding blankets, fuel cycle research, and neutronics.
- Represent the Fusion Energy Science program in inter-agency partnerships, such as the nuclear data group and Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
- Develop funding opportunities, conduct peer reviews, and prepare funding recommendations.
- Develop plans for the Fusion Nuclear Science subprogram based on research outcomes from the FES Long-Range Plan.
Requirements:
