Anticipated Duration: April 1, 2025 – September 30, 2025
As a Fish and Wildlife Technician Entry (Screens Technician) at the John Day Screen Shop in John Day, Oregon, you will:
- Assist with the welding, fabrication and installation of fish screen and passage components
- Perform maintenance (fabrication, replacement and repair of screen and passage components)
- Assist with the building of new or the reassembly of concrete forms
- Operate and maintain shop equipment and a variety of power and hand tools
- Assist with setting forms and installation of structural stee
- Assist with crews in pouring and finishing concrete fish screen and passage structures
- Assist with the removal of forms, backfill, by-pass pipe installation and site cleanup

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum qualifications are not established for this classification (there are no minimum qualifications). Previous related experience is desirable.
