The Cannabis Program at the Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking a motivated person to perform a variety of administrative and consultative functions in a collaborative work environment. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and function logically and creatively in an inclusive and collaborative environment. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience and training by collaborating with high performing teams who are leading the nation in addressing environmental impacts related to cannabis operations.

In order to be eligible for this position, you must either be transfer eligible or take and pass the following exam.

Working Conditions

This position offers the possibility of an office-centered telework agreement based on the Department’s current Telework Policy. The position requires the use of a computer for several hours each day, the completion of office tasks that require sitting, standing, and walking to other locations; attendance at meetings and participation in conference calls. Office and field work may require a uniform. Occasional (2%-3%) travel may be required within the state of California via private or public transportation.
