Working Conditions
Meet terms of Battalion Chief Stress Duty Statement. Incumbent required to wear respiratory protection equipment, including self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). As such, Cal/OSHA requires that the incumbent be annually medically cleared to be fit-tested for respiratory protection equipment. May be subject to working nights, weekends or holidays in support of emergency incidents. May require a two-year commitment. Battalion Chief shall be within 30 minutes of Battalion during required standby/on call hours.

Benefits
$6714 - $8712 Base Salary (paid every month)
In addition to the above pay items, employees are eligible for medical benefits (health, dental, vision) and may be eligible for other pay differentials.
