Responsibilities:
Perform oral and radiographic examination of the oral cavity, diagnose pathological or irregular conditions, and perform routine restorative procedures such as amalgams, resins, and stainless steel crowns on pediatric patients. Additionally, skills in handling patient with difficult patient-behavior or communication problems are required.
Safety and Compliance:
The selected individual must ensure clinic compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration and The Joint Commission standards. Acting supervisory duties may be performed at Peach Springs dental clinic as needed.
Requirements:
A Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a school approved by the American Dental Association (ADA) or the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) is mandatory. A current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States is also necessary. Medical Requirements: Applicants must be able to distinguish shades of color.
