Job Description
This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for evaluating patients' oral health, developing treatment plans, and providing routine and specialized dental care.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and treating a range of dental conditions, including caries, gum disease, and oral infections.
- Performing restorative procedures, such as fillings, crowns, and bridges.
- Providing preventative care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a school accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA) or the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
- A current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- At least one year of experience performing professional dentistry work for GS-12 level and above assignments.
