**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for evaluating, preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases, injuries, and disorders of the oral cavity and maxillofacial area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating patients' dental health and developing treatment plans
- Performing various dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and restorations
- Providing preventative care, such as cleanings and fluoride treatments
- Diagnosing and treating gum disease and other oral health issues
- Maintaining accurate patient records and communicating with other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution
- Licensure to practice dentistry in a state, district, commonwealth, or territory of the United States
- 2 years of experience in dentistry, including evaluation, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases, injuries, and disorders of the oral cavity and maxillofacial area
- Ability to distinguish shades of color
