Job Summary

We are seeking a talented general dentist to join our team. As a general dentist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. This includes performing routine exams, diagnosing oral health issues, and developing treatment plans to address patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough dental exams to identify potential health issues
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide routine cleanings, fillings, and extractions as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a school accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA) or the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Applicants must also possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in any state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.

Applicants must also have at least one year of experience performing professional dentistry work, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Qualifying experience involves the evaluation, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases, injuries, and disorders of the oral cavity and maxillofacial area.

Some examples of dentistry experience may include:

  • Removing decay and filling cavities
  • Straightening, extracting, and repairing teeth
  • Treating gum diseases
  • Performing corrective surgery
  • Making measurements/models for dentures to replace missing teeth
  • Administering anesthetics
  • Writing prescriptions
