Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the pharmacy information systems for Inpatient, outpatient and clinical sections, including program development, implementation, enhancement, troubleshooting and problem prevention.
- Coordinate the use of Pharmacy software for quality clinical care, including Electronic Health Records related to pharmacy functions.
- Accurately fill and dispense prescription and over-the-counter drugs on orders from medical providers, optometrists, dentists and other healthcare providers.
Maintain medication standards of quality of care and properly store and protect drugs and chemicals to prevent reactions.
Participate in the Service Unit Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model, attending morning huddles and improvement meetings.
Conduct authorized outpatient pharmacy clinics for examination and treatment of selected patients.
