We're Hiring: WIC Program Analyst
The West Virginia Office of Nutrition Services (ONS) is seeking a WIC Program Analyst to play a key role in administrative and financial operations. This position serves as the principal assistant and coordinator for purchasing requests, invoicing, and contract management, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and financial reporting requirements across multiple USDA funding streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain efficient procedures for purchasing and financial reporting.
- Complete federal grant reports related to obligations, liquidations, and funding trends.
- Assist the Administrative Lead in analyzing funding trends, identifying challenges, and resolving financial issues.
- Serve as a liaison with USDA, Department of Administration, Bureau for Public Health Central Finance, and Office of Shared Administration.
- Manage contacts with vendors, contractors, and agency offices regarding procurement, asset management, hospitality requests, and travel.
- Oversee procurement processes, including sole source contracts, RFPs, and capital expenditure approvals.
- Act as ONS P-Card, Ghost Account, and Travel Co-Coordinator to support financial operations.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
Substitution: Full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in paraprofessional or responsible clerical work at a level consistent with the work performed by an Office Assistant III and which required application of state and federal laws and/or guidelines, may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis.

Pay: $32,862.00 - $56,373.00 per year
