    Duties

    In the Spring 2024, DHS launched Know2Protect a national public awareness campaign to educate the public and policymakers about the growing threats of online CSEA, how to keep children safe online, how to report suspected online CSEA and locate victim resources. As a Management and Program Analyst, the incumbent will work with the Campaign Director, federal staff, and contract team to support the continued execution of the Know2Protect campaign.

    Major Duties

  • This position will report directly to the Know2Protect Campaign Director and will be responsible for helping to execute the campaign's communications strategies to include the interagency, assist with relationship management of campaign partners and champions; assist with partner activations and launching seasonal sub-campaigns.
  • The incumbent will : Assist in managing interagency relationships and track their engagement activities with the campaign; represent the campaign on interagency meetings and working groups; develop content for interagency briefings, standing meetings and provide follow-up communications from the campaign.
  • Work with the Know2Protect team to develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies; assist in managing existing partnerships and maintain open lines of communication with Know2Protect partners and champions.
  • Assist in strategy development, project management and execution of Know2Protect sub-campaigns.
  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills, strong writing, editing and oral communications skills, and an understanding of online CSEA mission set.
  • Apply a substantial knowledge of communications and plain language principals to create clear, accurate and accessible messages for audiences with diverse interests and backgrounds.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications required :

  • A minimum of intermediate-level experience is required for the following qualifications :
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in communications, marketing, engagement, and / or public outreach with the federal government.
  • Experience with development of communications / community engagement strategies and execution.
  • Experience managing multiple successful projects while meeting competing deadlines.
  • Experience with effectively managing and expanding partnerships with interagency and external stakeholders / partners.
  • Experience and comfortability briefing and advising external and internal stakeholders, including senior executives and political appointees.
  • Experience editing, drafting, and disseminating diverse materials for a range of audiences.
  • Experience creating and managing verbal presentations and / or written materials, to include national correspondence operations.
  • Mastery of a broad range of information sources and analytical methods to research and develop information on programs and policies.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, using individual discretion and professional judgment.
  • Be highly organized and have a demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working in a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Length of Assignment : 6-12 months, (Detail may be terminated early at discretion of campaign director).

  • Phase 3 : Complete a final review within the last 30 days of the JDA.
