Physician (Clinical Director)

Duties As Clinical Director, you will be responsible for the clinical care provided to detainees in ICE custody. You will supervise medical staff, provide training and mentoring, and be directly involved with the evaluation and treatment of severely ill and medically complex patients. You will monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identify problems, and effect their resolution. You will work in concert with both facility staff and consultant specialists in various clinical areas. You will collaborate with the Deputy Assistant Director, Regional Clinical Director, and other senior staff on budgetary and programmatic plans. For purposes of this standard, graduate training programs include only those internship, residency, and fellowship programs that are approved by accrediting bodies recognized within the United States or Canada.
