Underfill Opportunity
This position may be underfilled by a candidate who meets the Office Manager 2 minimum qualifications and is able to meet the Office Manager 3 minimum qualifications within 36 months.
Salary Ranges
- Office Manager 3: $5,240 - $7,718
- Office Manager 2: $4,537 - $6,667
Summary of Duties
As an Office Manager 3, you will:
- Supervise the Administrative Support Staff Unit within the Roseburg Child Welfare office.
- Ensure that support staff services and processes are efficient, timely and accurate with a focus on the overall goal of keeping children safe.
- Participate in management, policy and program planning decisions related to the operation of the branch.
- Authorize payments and perform budget related activities.
- Coordinate office and equipment repairs, installation of new equipment and identify space and equipment needs.
- Actively seek to provide culturally appropriate services where individuals are treated respectfully, compassionately and effectively in a manner that recognizes, affirms and values the worth of children, individuals, families and communities.
Minimum Qualifications
This position may be underfilled by a candidate who meets the Office Manager 2 minimum qualifications and is able to meet the Office Manager 3 minimum qualifications within 36 months.
Office Manager 3 minimum qualifications:
Three years of experience as a supervisor of clerical, secretarial, or office support staff that includes hiring or recommending hiring, training, assigning, and reviewing work, preparing performance evaluations, and handling disciplinary actions.
- One year of this experience must include management of multiple offices, programs, or procedures.
Office Manager 2 minimum qualifications:
One year of experience as a supervisor of clerical, secretarial, or office support staff that includes hiring or recommending hiring, training, assigning and reviewing work, preparing performance evaluations, and handling disciplinary actions.

Working Conditions
- Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST.
- Majority of your work will be conducted in the Roseburg ODHS Child Welfare office. You will have some opportunity for remote work, but this will need to be discussed with and approved by your manager.
- On rare occasions, you will have travel for the purpose of attending meetings, trainings and covering office support duties in the community (ex: going to the local bank).
- You will interact with a wide range of people including some who are experiencing trauma and may exhibit challenges in controlling their emotions or words.

- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required for this position.
