Under the general supervision of the Special Agent in Charge, and in conjunction with the Task Force Council, the Special Agent Supervisor (SAS) as the Task Force Commander is responsible for the administration and supervision of the multi-agency task force consisting of one Special Agent, four-to-seven local law enforcement officers and professional staff.

EDUCATION INCENTIVE
Agents with an Associate of Science, Associate of Arts, or Intermediate POST certificate will receive a 2.5% salary differential of the base pay. Agents with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Advanced POST certificate will receive a 5% salary differential of the base pay.
TASK FORCE COMMANDER INCENTIVE
The Special Agent Supervisor may be entitled to Task Force Commander Pay Differential 194.

- This position is located in the Division of Law Enforcement, Bureau of Firearms, Firearms Investigations and Dangerous Weapons Enforcement.

Desirable Qualifications
Experience and willingness to conduct complex, high volume, short-term field investigations. Should be knowledgeable in both state and federal firearms laws, and with other federal and state investigative procedures regarding firearms investigations, the use of sophisticated surveillance and monitoring equipment. Should be able to exercise good judgment; good communication skills; have knowledge of principles of supervision and training; strong leadership and organizational skills; ability to create and maintain a positive team environment; and knowledge of the Department's equal employment opportunity objectives. Prior experience in an acting or supervisory position is desired.
