Description:
The Supervisory Program Manager will oversee and direct training and development efforts to support Community Relations Services (CRS) staff in delivering training effectively. The incumbent will make recommendations to leadership regarding emerging program areas requiring training, oversee the development of new and updated program training content, and establish a consistent approach to employee training and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and direct training and development efforts to support CRS staff
* Develop and implement external training programs
* Plan and direct CRS' technical training activities
* Establish a variety of training methods, including simulation exercises, mentoring, professional development, and continuous learning
Requirements:
* Be a United States Citizen or National
* Complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check
* Meet all eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement and continue to meet these requirements throughout the hiring process
Qualifications:
* Possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-14 level
* Specialized experience includes developing, researching, and launching training programs intended to resolve civil rights conflict on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, and disability
* Have a broad understanding of community civil rights conflict resolution theories and techniques and utilize such techniques and theories to inform training products and programs
