The reporting location for this position is 4940 Lang Ave. McClellan Park, CA. This position will work under the general direction of State Park Interpreter III.
California State Railroad Museum seeks a Park Interpretive Specialist who is curious and passionate about uncovering the lives of people from our past. This position will search the museum collection through catalog and accession records to connect lived experiences to the Museum’s collection objects. Registration activities such as object photography, cataloging, condition reporting, inventory and object research and handling will be major components of this position. This position will work Monday through Friday, occasional weekend or evening assignments may be scheduled.

Working Conditions
Lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, lift, sit, and stand for long periods of time. Walk distances on uneven surfaces often outside.
