What are the responsibilities and job description for the PARK MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR position at Department of Parks & Recreation?
The reporting location for this position is the Maintenance Shop office at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park (SP) in Felton, CA. but may be required to work anywhere within the Sanat Cruz Mountains Sector (SCMS). This position will work under the direction of the Park Maintenance Chief II.
The incumbent will supervise, plan, and direct the daily operations of the district equipment program and facility maintenance program for Henry Cowell Redwoods SP. Responsibilities include: Maximo, facility and equipment maintenance, housekeeping, groundskeeping, budgeting of Cat 1, housing and seasonal allocations, and act as a liaison with contractors, vendors, special interest groups, and government agencies.
This position requires a valid Class C driver’s license. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
This position is designated as not telework eligible.
