What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUPPORT SERVICES ASSISTANT (GENERAL) position at Department of Rehabilitation?
Under the direct supervision of the Rehabilitation Supervisor, the Support Services Assistant (SSA) is responsible for performing the following duties to assist the Senior Rehabilitation Counselor.
Physical duties performed daily by maintaining case file organization, filing in case files, organizing received and attach relevant client medical records for QRP review to determine eligibility and IPE development and then file in hard case, escort clients from front office to QRP office and back. Retrieve documents from printer for QRP to attach to cases and/or mail to clients. Move active case files to TM mailbox for review and approval and return to QRP from QRP mailbox for signatures and routing as necessary. Route case files to OTG and Service Coordinator mailboxes as needed. Ongoing retrieval of case files from QRP mailbox and place in QRP’s reach and/or file in cabinet as requested if work is completed.
Make copies, fax and scan documents. Make copies of appropriate signed documents for client to take with them immediately after meetings as requested. Drive QRP to and from weekly AJCC (Career Center) location from District Office, in-person off-site meetings, and other trainings including mission critical events as needed.
Maintain QRP office organization and office supplies. Assist with scheduling meetings and updating calendar for QRP as necessary.
