Qualified applicants must be able to perform duties including analyzing and synthesizing a variety of data, preparing reports, following staffing procedures, working with residential Programs in the assignment of level of care staff, communicating with Registry staff, and effectively collaborating with members of Nursing Services and other hospital departments. Candidates should possess strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs and internal databases.

Working Conditions: In-person, rotating cycle schedule of three to four 12-hour shifts per week. Incumbent may elect to work morning shift (AM) (4:30AM-4:45PM) or night shift (NOC) (4:30PM-4:45AM), with a 45-minute lunch. Incumbent may be required to work on holidays and weekends.

Department Information
Founded in 1875, Napa State Hospital is the only state hospital in Northern California for persons struggling with severe mental illness. Classified as a low to moderate security facility, the hospital has a bed capacity to treat up to 1,362 patients on an attractive campus with treatment units located on 138 acres. Staff is dedicated and committed to delivering high quality, cost-effective, professional services and specialized programs in an environment that promotes continuous improvements in treatment for individuals with mental disabilities.
