Working Conditions
Patton is a forensic psychiatric hospital and was established in 1890 and opened in 1893. DSH-Patton provides treatment to forensically and civilly committed patients within a secure treatment area. The hospital does not accept voluntary admissions.

Statement of Qualifications
Candidates must submit a detailed Statement of Qualifications of no more than two pages,with one-inch margins, double spaced, and a minimum font size of Arial 12. The Statement of Qualifications must address the candidate's desirable qualifications that are related to the following elements:
- Experience in managing administrative departments containing support and/or nursing employees.
- Knowledge of Title 22, CalOSHA and Disability of Rights of California (DRC) for a medical/psychiatric facility.
- Environment of Care, Workplace Violence Prevention, Risk Management, Workplace Violence Prevention, Coleman patient adherences, Performance Improvement, and Data Analytics.
- Policy formulation: interpreting, developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Experience in developing effective local and systemic action plans to mitigate survey findings and process for sustainability.
- Customer service experience working with internal and external stakeholders, surveyors, auditors.
