About the Position:

The Virginia State Police is seeking to hire a Virginia Information Technology (VITA) Coordinator in our Information Technology Division (ITD) at State Police Headquarters in North Chesterfield, Virginia. The successful candidate will manage VITA Multi Source Services for VSP’s ITD; coordinate with VITA, ITD, and Information Security Office (ISO) to ensure security policies are enforced; complete documentation consistent with VSP and VITA policies; coordinate upcoming VITA transformation projects; report status of projects to management monthly; work with external vendors contracted through VITA; resolve billing disputes and tracks and manages VITA work requests; track contractor purchase orders; ensure Enterprise Cloud Oversight Services (ECOS) requests are processed in a timely manner; and maintain up-to-date knowledge on VITA standards and guidelines.
