The Procurement Specialist will oversee the execution of operational support requirements, utilizing Job Orders and Service Contracts under the Brooks Act.
Responsibilities
- Manage contracting activities through subordinates, focusing on acquisition planning, solicitation issuance, proposal evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Ensure compliance with pricing methodologies and relevant wage laws in renovation/construction projects.
- Administer installation and base operations contracts for public works, including utility, renovation/construction, and service contracts.
Employment Requirements
- Secret security clearance or access is required during employment.
- A background investigation and credit check are necessary.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required up to 20% of the time.
- Contracting Certification is required within 36 months of entrance on duty.
