DutiesServe as a principal source of advice within the G-3 / 5 / 7 Training Directorate on matters relating to Institutional Training (TRI)Prepare and present reports and briefings on program status and execution including planned improvement actions and tracking operational risk to key leadership.Research and interpret policy guidance and other legal / administrative issuances.Provide oversight of and / or execute the Leader Development Management process through planning and execution of major leader development forum.Initiate pilot programs, legislative proposals, special studies, and the issuance of new or revised policies with other actions to assure that G-3 / 5 / 7 Training Directorate maintains viable and effective Institutional Training programsProvide written clarification or interpretation to policy and regulatory questions.Prepare reports that include study analysis, findings and recommendations.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentAppointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
